Social networks in the Internet
Social
networking is a new medium for interaction and have the ability to
collect millions of unique users, growing from a business and social
contacts with individuals from the contact. They will keep in touch with each other as long as they exist. This is known as a private network.
As for the kinds of social networks that I know of are as follows:
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. E-mail
4. Friendster
5. MySpace
1. Facebook
Facebook
is a social networking website launched on February 4, 2004 and was
founded by Mark Zuckerberg, a Harvard graduate and former Ardsley High
School student. Its membership was initially restricted to students of Harvard College. In the next two months, its membership expanded to other schools in the Boston area. Furthermore, also developed a network for top-level schools and some large corporations. Since 11 September 2006, the e-mail address can sign anything on Facebook. Users can choose to join one or more networks available.
2. Twitter
Twitter was founded by three people: Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams in March 2006. And launched in July of the same year. Twitter
is a social networking and micro-blogging where we as users can provide
updated information about our business and so forth.
3. E-mail
letter
via email elektronik.Sebenarnya media stands for "Electronic mail". Via
email you can send an e-mail in the form of text or images combined
with, sent from one email address to another address on the Internet.
4. Friendster
Friendster,
an idea derived its name from the name of Napster, is a social
networking website where a user will create a virtual identity and then
fill in the data itself to then get an account on Friendster. In myspace we can see our friends and the friends of our friends, in addition to seeing our own friends.
5. MySpace
MySpace
is a popular social networking offers a network between friends,
personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music and videos for teenagers
and adults around the world. The headquarters site is located in Beverly Hills, Colifornia, USA. But
in 2005, News Corp. bought MySpace at a price of 580 million U.S.
dollars and MySpace officially changed hands belongs to News
Corporation.
